Terms of use

In short: Trakta is free and a helper, not tax advice. You are responsible for your own tax return and for checking the amounts.
About Trakta
Trakta is a free app that helps you keep track of per diem, business driving and commuting deductions in Sweden. It is developed by Dan Johansson as a private individual. By using the app or this website you accept these terms.
Not tax advice
Trakta calculates with Skatteverket's published standard amounts and rules as I have interpreted them. The calculations may contain mistakes or be out of date, and your situation may differ from what the app assumes. Trakta is not tax advice and is not affiliated with Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency).
Your responsibility
- You are responsible for what you enter in your tax return. Check the amounts before you submit.
- Keep the records Skatteverket may ask for, such as receipts and your driving log.
- If you are unsure, read skatteverket.se or ask Skatteverket or a tax advisor.
Your data
Everything you enter is stored only on your phone (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for backing up anything you want to keep. If you remove the app or lose your phone, the data is gone.
No warranty
The app and the website are provided as is, without warranties of any kind that they are error-free, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any damage or loss arising from your use of the app or the website, such as incorrect figures in a tax return, tax surcharges or lost data. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.
Changes
The app may change, be updated or stop being developed. These terms may change; the latest version is always here, with the date at the top of the page.
Governing law
Swedish law applies to these terms.
