Privacy policy

In short: Trakta collects no personal data. Everything you enter in the app stays on your phone, and nobody else – me included – can see it.
Who is responsible
Trakta is developed by Dan Johansson as a private individual. For questions about this policy or your data, reach me at hello@trakta.app.
The app
- The app has no internet access, no account and no sign-in.
- Everything you enter – trips, drives, commuting, notes and documents – is stored only on your phone. The database is encrypted, and documents are kept in the app's own private storage.
- Nothing is sent to me or to anyone else. The app contains no analytics, ads, tracking or crash reporting.
- The app does not ask for access to your files. When you add a document you pick the file yourself in the phone's file picker, and the app keeps a copy of that one file.
- If you remove the app, all its data is deleted. There is no copy anywhere else.
App Store and Google Play
When you download Trakta, Apple and Google process data about you under their own terms and privacy policies. As the developer I may receive aggregated statistics from the stores, such as the number of downloads, but nothing that identifies you.
This website
trakta.app is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The site uses no cookies and no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties.
If you support Trakta
The "buy me a coffee" button is a plain link to Buy Me a Coffee; this website loads nothing from them. If you choose to support Trakta, the payment happens at Buy Me a Coffee and its payment partners under their terms and privacy policy. I see the name, email address and message you choose to share there, and use them only to thank you.
When you email me
If you write to me, I use your email address and what you write to reply. I keep it no longer than needed to handle your message. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering questions and bug reports.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to know what data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. As the app collects nothing, I normally hold no data about you at all apart from any email you have sent. Contact me at hello@trakta.app. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, imy.se.
Changes
If the app or this website changes in a way that affects your data, I will update this policy and the date at the top of the page.
